Six Jonathan Charles designs have been named finalists for the 30th annual Pinnacle Awards, all in the Professional Furniture Designer category.
This is our second year in a row on the list. In 2025, four of our designs were finalists across three categories, and the Echo Canyon Leather & Hide Occasional Chair went on to win in Leather Upholstery, Luxury. Whether this year ends the same way is up to the judges. For now, we are glad to be back among so many designers whose work we admire.
The Six Finalists
Terra Round Dining
A round dining table from the Terra family, new for Spring 2026. The top is Ziricote veneer, the apron carries a band of natural straw marquetry, and the whole piece rests on a sculptural pedestal base. It is paired with Ziricote dining chairs in leather.
Sapphire Horizontal Table Lamp
A wide, low lamp with a base in Azure Blue straw marquetry, laid by hand and finished with stainless steel details. Built to sit comfortably on a console or sideboard.
Nova Table Lamp
A compact table lamp in an Industrial Bronze finish, pairing metal with marble and brass.
Winsland Picture Frame
An 8 x 10 inch picture frame stand in Olive Ash Burl veneer, with brass and marble details. New for Spring 2026.
Fragments of Time
A pair of cast bronze faces, each surviving only in part like an ancient fragment, set in shadowbox frames and finished in a patinated antique gold.
Orsman Bedroom
A bed and nightstand from the Orsman Collection, both in Caramel Cerejeira veneer. The nightstand adds brass hardware and faux bone detailing.
The People Behind Them
Every one of these pieces was made in our workshops in Vietnam. A shortlist carries the brand's name, but the work belongs to the makers who lay the marquetry and finish each surface by hand. This recognition is theirs as much as anyone's.
What Happens Next
Winners will be announced at the 30th Annual Pinnacle Awards Gala on Monday, October 19, 2026, held during Fall High Point Market in the IHFC 11th Floor Ballroom, High Point, North Carolina. You can see all 2026 finalists in the Professional Furniture Designer category on the ISFD website.
Thank you to everyone at Jonathan Charles who had a hand in these six designs.
