Technical Management:

• Manage technical processes for glue, sandpaper, and cutting tools.
• Establish usage standards (glue mixing ratio, pot life, environmental conditions, etc.).
• Monitor and optimize glue consumption rates.

Testing & Trialing:

• Conduct trials for new glue, sandpaper, and cutting tools.
• Evaluate test results and prepare trial reports.
• Implement successful results and transfer technology/processes to production.

Standard Setting:

• Draft, issue, and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs).
• Standardize technical documentation.
• Periodically review and improve technical standards.

Training & Compliance Control:

• Train workers and team leaders on technical procedures.
• Evaluate training effectiveness.
• Audit compliance with SOPs on the shop floor.

Troubleshooting & Problem Solving:

• Analyze defects and issues related to glue, sandpaper, and cutting tools.
• Collaborate with Production and QA to identify root causes and implement corrective/preventive actions.

Supplier Relations:

• Serve as the primary technical contact for material suppliers.
• Evaluate the quality of incoming materials.
• Support testing, evaluation, and selection of new suppliers.

Continuous Improvement:

• Participate in improvement projects to reduce glue consumption.
• Reduce product defect rates.
• Increase production productivity.
• Implement new materials, technologies, and methods.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in furniture glue and sanding machines.
• Understanding of hot press, cold press, vacuum press machines, etc.
• Analytical skills, problem-solving skills, proficiency in Excel, and reporting skills.
